Trap Money Music is a New Record Label Worth Knowing
Trap Money Music is an upcoming label coming out of the southwest part of Philadelphia. The label was founded by 19-year-old rapper, Banzo. This artist and entrepreneur has spent his life in and around music which has served as a driving force behind chasing his dreams.
Banzo is an artist that cites his circle and upbringing as two of his major influences in music. He’s let those close to him push him on this journey while he focused on creating a sound that was all his own. Now, he’s set his sights on continuing to grow as a musician while helping develop and build up Trap Money Music.
Both behind the mic and not, he’s proven to be an ambitious young man.
Recently, we were able to catch up with Banzo and learn more about him and the Trap Money Music team. In that conversation, we were able to learn more about his music, his goals, and what is on the horizon for him and his team.

Trap Money Music was founded back in 2018 so it has yet to even see its fifth birthday, yet it’s already accomplished a lot. For Banzo personally, the growth of the label serves as a daily inspiration. He and his team are continuously working to bring new music to their fans and to grow their presence.
That inspiration combined with the quality of his music has allowed him to grow to over 1,400 monthly listeners on Spotify already.

On why people should check him and the TMM team out, here is what he told us.
“We’re bringing a different flow and sound to Philly and it stands out from the usual. We got everything music fans are looking for and we are on the rise.”
That is evident on a track like “Fashion” which highlights his ability to rip through different flows while delivering a high-end track for his fans, attributes that he prides himself on. It’s no wonder the song is racking up streams on Spotify and already proving to be a fan favorite.
While that song is a favorite of ours, we asked Banzo which of his songs was his favorite and he gave us a teaser of what is an upcoming track. He told us “Wasting Time”, which is unreleased, is his favorite, so make sure you keep your eyes and ears out for that one.
As for the future of Banzo and TMM, they have a lot in the works. Banzo calls it all a work in progress at the moment as they gear up for to release new EPs, Albums, and start focusing on live performances.
With some great music out and some more on the way, this is an artist and label that you must have on your radar in 2022 and beyond. When we asked him about what his sound unique and different he told us that for him, it’s his versatility and ability to change flows.
