A Musician Who Deserves Your Attention: Daggy
Daggy is an independent artist out of Florida whose multi-faceted talent has caught us by surprise.
Above is his latest single, ‘Jolie’. We love the passion and collaboration that undoubtedly went into creating this song, and it certainly shines through on the record. The song delivers on that club feel, and it’s just a smooth laid back track that oozes coolness.
Oh yeah and some of it’s in French.
Not too often do you see an artist pull something like this off, but we thought that Daggy definitely did.
Daggy told us:
“I’ve been on a hiatus from recording since January, in the time since then I have been looking over my extensive catalog and focusing my efforts on marketing and reaching out to the fans. I’ve always been entertaining the idea of releasing a full-length album. There are plenty of songs to make that a reality, yet I want to lock back in the routine of recording in the next coming months. A fresh approach is where I’m confident I can deliver what is my best work. Perhaps linking back up with Mykey Lo, or creating a collaborative tape with Lowgass @lowgass. The sky is always the limit, but I will continue to market and continue to spread my music on a global scale. Expect more music videos too! Classic tracks like Liar and Paper are well overdue for a visual. Music videos are always an exciting process. Having worked with Zin @zinwav on my latest visual, Sprint, we’ll continue to collaborate on content.”
We are glad he made his way out of hiatus and back into the limelight and we are patiently awaiting what’s next for this rising star.
